Our Executive Team
Christian Brown is the President of Slate Construction, responsible for pre-construction and business development. His exposure to a diversity of different projects and ROCK Solid commitment has earned Slate Construction a golden reputation amongst today's top companies who have employed their services.
Christian holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University in Construction Science and has been in the commercial construction industry in the Houston market for 22 + years. He offers expertise in pre-construction, estimating, and project management. His project experience is diverse and includes educational, healthcare, industrial, religious and hospitality.
Christian enjoys servicing his clients’ needs, providing accurate budgets from a napkin drawing, during the infancy design stages of a project.
Jeff Atkinson is the Vice President of Operations at Slate Construction, responsible for overseeing operations, staffing and project management. Jeff has 17 years of service in the construction industry, with a diverse background in project types.
At Slate Construction, he leads the efforts to improve Slate’s day to day processes and improve overall project management efforts. With a schedule-oriented mind, construction comes naturally to him.
Jeff is dedicated to servicing Slate’s clients. Every decision or effort made at Slate is intentional to benefit Slate Construction as well as their clients.
Montan Montemayor is the General Superintendent of Slate Construction. His role oversees and guides project operations to achieve success for both Slate Construction and its valued clients. He has 20+ years experience in industrial, medical, educational, and commercial construction.
His expertise lies in implementing day to day quality/control, safety practices and achievement of aggressive construction schedules. He is a natural leader and ensures our projects run at full efficiency by being involved in the staffing of our team and constructability solutions of our projects.
